Ayurveda: Practices for Home Series

Ayurveda Practices for Home is an accessible, introductory series designed for anyone who feels ready to reconnect with themselves in a more grounded and meaningful way. Whether you already practice yoga or you’re simply curious about cultivating balance in your daily life, this series offers a clear, approachable way to experience Ayurveda without overwhelm.

Through a blend of short 1:1 sessions and six in-person group gatherings, you’ll explore how the qualities of nature shape your body, mind, and daily experiences; and how simple, intentional shifts can help you feel more steady, energized, and at home within yourself.

Ayurveda teaches that “home” is not just the place you return to at the end of the day. It’s the body, mind, and inner landscape you move through the world with. When we learn how to tend to that home with care, rhythm, and understanding, health becomes something we can return to again and again.

What to Expect

Your experience begins with a 30-minute personal online assessment, where we explore your constitution and prepare for the in-person sessions ahead.

Then, over six weekly gatherings, we move through essential Ayurvedic concepts in a grounded, digestible way. Each session offers a mix of lecture, reflection, discussion, and practical tools. Worksheets and guides are woven into the journey to help you apply what you're learning in real time.

The Six in person sessions

1. What is Home?
Discover how Ayurveda views your body and mind as your true home. Learn about prakriti and the foundations of the doshas.

2. Balance as a Guide
Explore how understanding qualities (warm, cool, light, heavy) helps you bring your system back into balance in everyday moments.

3. Kindling New Patterns
Learn how digestion shapes vitality and how small, intentional dietary shifts can spark sustainable change.

4. Movements of Quality
Understand how the qualities of the mind and senses guide you toward rhythm, clarity, and steadiness.

5. Pass Through Time
Practice simple meditations and centering techniques that help you be with life as it unfolds rather than getting swept up in it.

6. Beyond Healing
Reclaim health as a natural right, not something to chase. Learn how Ayurveda helps us live fully day by day, with more presence and less pressure.

Your series closes with a follow-up personal integration session, a 30-minute online conversation to help you clarify your next steps and personalize a few recommendations based on your journey.
