
This class is designed to help you find deep relaxation and restoration through a gentle and introspective practice. By exploring a sequence of long-held, passive yoga poses, typically held for 3 to 5 minutes the muscles relax as the deeper tissues are nourished. You will be encouraged to find a comfortable edge in each pose, where you feel a gentle stretch without any pain or discomfort.
During the class, we will incorporate elements of mindfulness and breath awareness to cultivate a meditative state. Yin Yoga is not about striving for perfection in the poses or pushing your limits. Instead, it is about surrendering, letting go, and finding stillness within each posture. It's an opportunity to slow down, listen to your body, and connect with your inner self. Prepare to leave the class feeling balanced, centered, lighter, clearer and completely relaxed.
This class runs in 6 week sessions, no drop-ins. You must sign up for all 6 weeks. *Minimum of 4 people required in order to host the session.
